The youth ministry at CLCC strongly believes that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God. It is inspired by the Holy Spirit and has been given to us as light in this world that we live in.

One of our main beliefs is that parents should be active in the growth and maturation of their children (Eph. 6:4). God has ordained this ministry as a tool for the parents to use, not as a final solution to the challenges that today’s youth face. We all desperately need a Savior and it is of great urgency to understand the reality of God’s saving grace.

The Word of God is as relevant to us today, just as much as it always has been. We must apply its truth to every area of our life in order to present ourselves a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God (Rom. 12:1).

Also, one of our main concerns today is that youth have been falsely taught what it means to be a follower of Christ. Jesus tells the rich young ruler (Mark 10:17-22) that in order to be “saved” you must, “…sell all that you have, take up the cross and follow Me.” Jesus shows us that a relationship with Him not only takes sacrifice and a willingness to give up your own desires but also, that you may receive persecution for your belief in Christ.

There are many who profess Christ and even state that they have asked Him into their heart, but the truth lies in God’s Word (Matthew 7:21-23). There will be those who profess to know Him, yet Christ says, “I never knew you”.

We feel that our responsibility as a youth ministry is to present the truth of God’s Word so that young people may have confidence in the saving grace of our Father, and that the kingdom of heaven awaits YOU in eternity!

Inspiring messages that take on the issues of the day!

Christian parenting can be complicated during this era and this culture. The teachings and worship bring the kids to a place of reverence to God and an understanding of what it takes to be godly in this day and this hour.
